In a setback to the National Investigation Agency, the Kerala high court on Thursday acquitted Thadiyantevida Nazeer and the other accused, convicted by the NIA court in Kochi in 2011 in connection with the Kozhikode twin blasts case.
It is learnt that the home minister will review the area domination plan, zero terror plan, law and order situation, cases related to UAPA and other security-related issues.
The judge will hear arguments on the quantum of punishment on July 12 and the convicts can get a maximum sentence of life imprisonment for the offences.
